Task 2.1 - Generate Ideas for a Game Concept

Game Idea #1 - Alatreya
Game story synopsis
The story starts one day when everything was peaceful and quiet in the kingdom of Alatreya but then everything falls into chaos when the ogre king decided to break the order of the old ogre king and wreaked havoc on the quiet kingdom, but the proud king of the kingdom did not stand idle as the new ogre king destroyed his kingdom and so he went to battle along with his troops because a true king never lets his people fight alone.
The genre of the game will be strategy as you have to devise a strategy on how you would protect your kingdom, it also falls in the defense genre as you have to protect your kingdom. This game will be a standalone because its the first and there won't be any sequels to it. I think that I will be targeting audiences around the age of 15 because even though it is just a tower defense type of a game like bloons tower defense franchise my game will be a bit more mature featuring blood and death in it. My target platform for this game will be PC and mobile because of games like bloons tower defense which started as a PC flash game but later developed to a mobile game.

Game perspective and objective
The game will be in eagle eye perspective because I feel like this is best as you will be able to overlook everything that's happening from above as you defend your kingdom from the ogres. The objective of the game is to defend your kingdom from the evil ogres that are trying to wreak havoc to it. The ogres will be coming in waves getting stronger by every wave however you can also upgrades your men to match the strength. To the whole objective is basically to stay alive for as long as you can.

Characters
Protagonist:
So the main protagonist of this game will the king of Alatreya. The king will be calle Poleseus and he is a strong character with a proud and noble personality who cares for his and in return is very respected by them.

Antagonist:
The antagonist of the game is the new king of the ogres called Trakar. Trakar is a menacing and vile character who is merciless to his soldiers, one mistake and he will kill them with no second thought.

NPC
The NPC of the game are exactly none playable in a sense of being able to control them because even though you can't exactly play as them you are still able to place them on a location.
On the defense side there will be archers, knight, mages, catapulters, lancers etc. On the ogre side there will be thieves, berserkers, archers. riders etc. Each of these can evolve and become stronger every wave however you are also able to upgrade your units using the loot from the killing.

Objects
There won't really be objects in this game since it is a tower defense kind of game unless you count the unit you place on the map as objects because they're not exactly playable either.

Terrain
The terrain is going to be set on a lush green pasture where there are flowers and tree's everywhere as it the defense is just outside of the castle, however there will be rotten land with murky atmosphere on the side where the ogres are coming from.

Game Idea #2 - Celestial Warfare
Game story synopsis
Celestial Warfare is an open-world, fantasy role-playing video game and the game is set in a place known as Avalon where a war has broken out between the seraph and the hellion clan. The seraph kind are beings of light whereas hellions are beings of darkness. The war started when the clan leader of the hellions kidnapped the daughter of the seraph kind’s leader and rescuing the princess will be the main mission for the game. In the game you will play as the female protagonist named Aurelia who is the sister of the kidnapped princess Oriel.

Game perspective and objective
This game will be in third-person perspective because it's the best option for an action based role-playing game as the player will be able to feel as if they are part of the game, it also adds more impact to the gameplay. The objective of the game is to be able to defeat the hellion lord and rescue the princess who is your sister

Characters
Protagonist:
The main protagonist of this game will be a strong and fierce female lead who is Aurelia, first princess of Avalon. Aurelia is a very dignified princess however, she is also an excellent warrior who is the best even among the guards.

Antagonist:
The antagonist of this game will be the hellion lord known as Baradeer. Baradeer is a very strong commander on top of being the lord of the hellion clan. Baradeer has a very strong and muscular stature with heavy half body armor.

Second protagonist:
The one to be rescued is the second princess of Avalon named Oriel. Oriel is an innocent, kind and bright girl but on top of this she is also quite a free and adventurous spirit so she always wanders outside of the palace walls which eventually lead to her being kidnapped by the lord of the hellions.

NPC
The NPCs will include the different kinds of hellions that you have to face on your journey to the city of turmoil where oriel is being kept, apart from hellions you will also have to face thieves and other corrupted beings. Other NPCs will include shop keepers and traders that you will encounter along the way.

Objects
The objects in this game will be the weapons that you wield to fight your enemies. The weapons include a sword, bow and arrow, a spear and some other magical items you can use to cast powerful spells. Other objects will include your wings and other essentials that will help your journey.

Terrain
There will be different themes of terrain starting with the kingdom in which the protagonist came from. Avalon which is the citadel of light is a place that is bright as the buildings are all in white giving it a holy atmosphere, it is surrounded by white mountainous rock and beautiful clear blue rivers and lakes. The city of turmoil which is the destination of the protagonist is the complete opposite, the ground looks dead along with the trees and other plants surrounding it, the city is surrounded by dark black rocks that looking like the earth's essence are seeping out.

Game Idea #3 - Flora
Game story synopsis
The story is about a little flower fairy who goes on an adventure to find out what she truly is. The story begins when one day flora was out playing with her friends in the buttercup fields, she was having so much fun until a being of the dark forces came and tried to take her friends away but some some how something powerful awakened inside her and she was able to get rid of the dark being, her friends were surprised but out of all of them she was surprised the most as she doesn't what she had just done and where it came from and so she starts questioning where this power may have come from so she went to their village elder and asked about it but the elder knew none about it instead she told her that she knew someone who might know and so from there flora goes on adventure to find out about herself. The genre of the game will a soft but action packed role-playing game.

Game perspective and objective
The games perspective will be in third-person because I feel like it's the best option for an action based role-playing game as the player will be able to feel as if they are part of the game which also adds more impact to the gameplay and storyline.

Characters
The main protagonist will be flora who is a special type of fairy who is on an adventure to self-discovery. She is different from the others in her village because she is not to be in this village as she was found by the village elder in the shroom forest when she was still very young. Flora is a very strong willed character with a mischievous nature to her and she always plays pranks on her friends and especially her standing mother, the village elder.

Image below is flora and and NPC which is called a darkin.

NPC
The NPCs of this game will be the dark forces also known as darkins who are after flora's powers as a source of strength. The dark forces are shadows that are made from the shadows of those who passed away with strong hatred and anger in their hearts. Dark beings are physical shadows with red glowing eyes.

Objects
The objects that you will come across in this game are things like flower which you will discover along your long journey, these flowers also represent different abilities so as you gain more and more of these flowers you will be able to upgrade your abilities to make them stronger as you face against stronger darkins.

Task 1 - Visual/Gameplay Report

Game Visuals

League of Legends
League of Legends was released on October 27 in the year 2009 by Riot Games. League of Legends is a 3D, MOBA game which stands for multiplayer online battle arena. The game has three game modes which players can choose to play in. The players compete with other players in matches that usually last round 20-60 minutes. In any of the game modes that players can choose to play in they have to work with each other to defeat the other team by destroying their Nexus which stands at the heart of the opposing teams base. Before entering a match players must first choose a character or champion to play as, The game at the moment has 134 champions you can choose from, but they are not free. You must first buy them using in game currency that you can get by completing matches.
I like this game because of it's visuals, I think that this is one of it's unique selling points because of vibrancy and detail of their graphics it pulls people into it.

Terrain
In League of Legends there three game modes you can choose from and from each of those game modes comes a unique map of its own. The three game modes are Summoners Rift, Howling Abyss, and the Twisted Treeline,

The Summoners Rift is also known as the normal game mode, this game mode is set on lush green environment with lots of trees and mystical creatures surrounding it along with a river that
runs across the middle of the map. Out of the three game modes the Summoners rift is the biggest because it has three lanes that players can go through.

The Twisted Treeline is like the complete opposite of the summoners rift because its set on a place in the League of Legends universe known as the shadow isles, the shadow isles is said to be crawling with ghoulish creatures with this rumours in mind the twisted treeline has a very dark and ghoulish atmosphere accompanied by dead trees and ghoulish creatures that live within its jungle.

The Howling Abyss is set in a frozen country known as Freljord in the League of Legends universe. The Howling Abyss has a very harsh, frozen weather as it is set in a a country with unforgiving snowstorms, it is set on a slightly ruined bridge which means that it only has one lane.

Architecture
In League of Legends architecture isn't laid out the same way games like borderlands would be because it has to be built following the them of that specific map. In the normal map which is known as the Summoners rift you won't see very many architecture designs except for the few towers that are along the lanes but the main architecture is inside your base.
Within the base you will find a few more towers but you will also find the nexus which is basically the heart of the base, there are also inhibitors placed before the lane entrances then there's the shop which isn't exactly a form architecture as it is supposed to be a pet of the shop owner.
There are two other maps In league of Legends, there is one that is known as the twisted treeline and the other one is known as the howling abyss. The twisted treeline is based in a place known as the shadow isles and so it is very ghoulish looking and architecture wise, like the summoners rift you won't see much except for when you're in base the only difference is that the twisted treeline only has two lanes.
Now for the howling abyss it's quite unique because the map itself is basically a for of architecture as it is based on an abandoned bridge from the place known as freljord and this is place is known to be harsh and very cold since it is also known as the frozen continent.
Because the map is based on this old abandoned bridge it is very eerie looking and also it's called the howling abyss because when the wind passes through the bridge its almost as if a monster is howling. In the howling abyss the turrets are themed and so are the inhibitor and the nexus.

Map Overview

Object
Because League of legends is an MOBA game objects don't really have a physical appearance as they are only there to amplify the characters's stats however, they do have visual appearances and there are a lot of items withing league of legends as some items build to bigger items giving better stats so there are just was too many to mention so I will only talk about the few starters that they have.

Doran's Items. Here are the three main starter items that you can choose from. Doran's blade is ideally for physical attack champions, Doran's ring is ideally for magic damage champions and Doran's shield is ideally for more tanky champions.

You can also choose the boots of speed along with some health potions. The boots of speed can then be upgraded to better boots with enough which then give you extra stats.

You can also buy the long sword as a started which can then bu upgraded to many other powerful items. Note that you have six available item slots, this may include your boots and some other items that you can buy once you've earned enough money.

Non-Playing Characters (NPC)
There are many non playable characters in league of legends although they do vary depending on which map you are playing in. In the summoners rift there is the shopkeeper then there are jungle monsters and lastly the minions.

You can't really interact with the shopkeeper, they just stand there with their giant beast pet.

There are a few jungle monsters in league of legends like the raptor's, gromp, the wolves, blue buff and red buff and etc.
These are the five mini monster camps that occupy the jungle.
There are the wolves, the raptors, the ancient krugs, the scuttle crab and gromp the ruler of the swamp.

Scuttle crab and the ancient krugs

The wolves and gromp the ruler of the swamp.

The raptors

Using smite (which is a summoner spell) on some of these monsters can earn you unique buffs.
Smiting the raptors allows you to reveal any hidden or invisible units for a short amount of  time. Smiting the ancient krugs allows you to stun a small unit like a minion or a small jungle monster every third strike. Smiting gromp earns you the buff that any unit that attacks you will get poisoned for a short duration. Killing the scuttle crab will make him rush back to his original position which then creates a circle where if you or any allied champion walks over will gain a boost of speed for a short duration, the circle also keeps a small radius of vision in that location.

This is the blue golem also known as the blue buff or just blue. The blue buff is one of the four larger jungle monsters. Killing the blue buff gives you a buff that increases your mana regeneration along with 20% cooldown reduction.

This the red brumbleback also known as the red buff or just red. the red buff is also one of the larger jungle monsters and killing it will give you a buff that allows you to burn your target for a good duration with each basic attack that you land.

These are the dragons that occupy the dragons pit in the summoners rift. These dragons randomly rotate once one has been killed however, only the elder dragon will spawn after the timer hits the 35 minute mark. Killing each of these dragons will enhance your stats, killing the infernal drake will increase your attack damage and magic power, killing the mountain drake increases your damage dealt to turrets, killing the cloud drake increases your movement speed, killing the ocean drake increases your HP and mana regeneration. Now the elder drake is a bit special as killing it will greatly amplify the stats that you have already acquired from killing the other dragons and on top of that you get an enormous burn buff that deals great damage to your targets for a short duration.

 The Elder Drake

"Rift Herald is a powerful neutral monster on Summoner's Rift in League of Legends. Slaying Rift Herald drops a relic in the pit for some time that can be picked up by one member of the slayer's team, granting them Enhanced Recall and the Eye of the Herald." - http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Rift_Herald

The last and probably one of the most important jungle monster there is Baron Nashor, killing the baron will greatly increase your physical damage and magic power. The buff will also give you an enhanced recall meaning that when ever you recall back to your base and you have the buff, instead of waiting for 8 seconds to return to base you'll only have to wait for half of that. The baron usually has an enormous amount of health and you don't always get to kill the baron in every match, it depends with how longs the match lasts. The image below shows the baron in the barons pit.

Feedback
Feedback is how the game lets the player know when a certain event occurs. When the player's champion is taking damage the screen will flash a faint red around the corners.
Using an ability puts it on cooldown and each ability have different cooldowns but whenever you use an ability the ability Icon will be overlaid by a timer which shows you the exact second left till its completely goes on cooldown, it also does the same for summoner spells and activatable items.
When you die the screen will go grey and a timer will be put on your champion's profile picture, the death timer cooldown usually differs with your level with 1 minute being the maximum.
There is also the announcer feedback where if you get a certain amount of kills like for example if you get your third kill without dying the game will announce that you are on a killing spree while if you were to get another kill, it will announce that you're on a rampage then if you were to reach ten kills without dying in between it it will announce that you're legendary along with these announcements a dialogue will also pop up on your screen with your name and then your killing title, this is also the same for when you get a double kill, triple kill. quadra kill and the maximum being a pentakill as there can only be a maximum of five players in the opposing team. If your team were to kill the baron or any of the drake, it won't announce it however it will appear on the chat.

Interface
The controls in league of legends are like any other MOBA games at least in terms of moving your character anyway because all you need is a mouse and then right click on the location you want your character to move to. Apart from a mouse you will also need a keyboard to be able to cast your champions abilities and obviously to be able to rage on the chat.
The player HUD shows you the profile picture of your character, you will also see their four abilities along with the summoner spells and then right beside it you can see the six item slots. On the left side of the champion profile picture it shows you your champion's current stats. On the bottom right you can see the minimap, now the minimap is very useful and important as it allows you to see where the players of the opposing team are, as long as they are out of the fog of war then their profile picture will appear on the minimap as little bubbles.
To open the shop you can either press 'P' or you can click on the bottom of your item slot where it shows you how much money you currently have, to be able to actually buy something though you must first go back to base, to return back to base via recall you have to press B although you can change these key bindings if you want, like for example if you preferred pressing a different key to recall you can change this by going to the in game settings by pressing the 'Esc' button on your keyboard.

Perspectives
League of legends perspective is basically birds-eye view but at a slight angle I think that they chose kind of perspective apart from the fact that most MOBA games have this perspective is that because MOBA games can be very high in action depending on the situation and I think that the best way to observe the action is by looking at it in birds-eye view.
I think that another reason that birds-eye view work really well with these types of game is that it is able to show the characters model really and because it's at a slight angle you are able to see the champion's full body meaning you can appreciate the design of the character more.
If you wanted you could also zoom into the screen more by rolling the middle wheel on your mouse. You could also lock the camera to your character by pressing the 'Y' button. The video below is a champion spotlight on the champion Aurelion Sol, the video goes over the champions abilities, what items to build on him and how to play him effectively. It also showcases the game's perspective.

Full-Motion Video (FMV)
An FMV is a type of game narration technique which relies upong pre-recorded videos instead of using vectors, sprites or 3D models to display some kind of action into the game.
Usually FMV's are there to showcase the start to the games story or how the character ended up where he is when you start playing him but this is only one other type of FMV. However in MOBA games they are there to kind of help promote the game or to satisfy the people that have been playing the game for a while. In my case I love it when league of legends release FMV's or cinematics and they include champions that I really like because its fun to see the champion that you sometimes play in a different kind of scenario other than being controlled by you. The cinematic below shows a story about the two newly released champions, Xayah and Rakan.

Smite
Smite Is a third-person multiplayer online battle arena which was released March 25 2014 on Microsoft Windows and then more than a year later on August 19, 2015 it was released on Xbox one. The game was developed and published bye Hi-Rez Studios.
In this game you can control gods, goddesses and other mythological figure, you then take part in a team based combat like any other MOBA games. The game has many gods and goddesses you can choose from and I think that it's great that they based off actual gods and goddesses from different countries and some mythological cults like the Celtics. Like other MOBA games to win the match you must first destroy the teams nexus or in this case the teams base guardians.

Terrain
Like league of legends, smite also has a few maps that you could choose from but because the characters in the game are based on gods the terrain are more mythological looking than just a normal fantasy based setting. There are several game modes that you can choose from, each having their own settings. The four main game modes are conquest, arena, asault and siege.

  Conquest
The setting of the conquest map is based on ancient Greece. The map is based on an island surrounded by the ocean with tall land formations, because it was based on ancient Greece it is filled with white structures like pillars. It is very Grecian inspired as some of the characters belong to Greek mythology. This map consists of 3 lanes with a few monster camps.

Arena
The arena mode is set in a gladiator's Colosseum like the one from ancient Rome. Because the map is based on a Colosseum it means that it does not have any lanes in it however, like in ancient Rome where they used to use these arena's for making gladiators fight large ferocious animals the mode also has these ferocious animals as an alternative for the blue and red camp.

Assault
This map is based on Nordic mythology which is why the map has very cold and eerie atmosphere. Th map only consists of one lane and no monster camps. The map itself is surrounded by large carved rocks and tree's covered by snow.

Siege
The siege mode's map is based on the Mayan civilisation. The map has two main lanes with a jungle which you can also go through. The map is encircled by mountains of rocks and some trees in the jungle.

Architecture
Smite is mostly exactly laid out like league of legends with towers, healing fountain's and towers. However in smite the structure are quite different because instead of a nexus they instead have a guardian titan which are basically giant living beings, there are two types of these titans, one is known as the titan of order which are two beings holding each other with one wing each, one has the right wing and the other has the left wing, both of them also carry a lance which they use to attack any enemy unit that get close to them. The other titan is known as the titan of chaos, this titan looks like it was made from molten lava which I think is the perfect image for the word chaos, this titan carries two weapons, a mace and an axe. Another thing that is different is that smite doesn't have structures called inhibitors, instead of having a turret and an inhibitor at the gate they have just one platform that contains a phoenix which also attacks enemy units. These are some of the differences that I have discovered between smite and league of legend. However, because of the fact that each of the maps are based on different mythologies they all have their own unique designs that take inspiration from that pantheon.

Conquest
The conquest has a red side and a blue side, The blue side is protected by the titan of order while the red side is protected by the. each side have their own unique designs and themes of colour.

Blue side's titan of order and the towers and phoenix leading to it.
As you can see the blue side has an angelic kind of atmosphere to it.

Red side's titan of chaos and the towers and phoenix leading to it. The red side has a very hellish atmosphere to it since its built below the volcano.

Arena
In this mode since the battleground itself is a structure known as a Colosseum, there isn't really any other structures apart from the walls that contain the monster camps and the walls that cover your base. In this mode the colours are between the orange and green team instead of red and blue.

Orange and green team base

Walls containing the monsters

Assault
This mode is based on the the Nordic pantheon and so the atmosphere is very cold and eerie even more so that it's based in a snowy environment surrounded by mountainous rocks and trees.

Even though it has a cold atmosphere the blue base looks quite welcoming because it looks well lit and actually quite colourful.

Even though it's based in a snowy environment it somehow looks scorching because of the background, it also looks cursed which is the complete opposite of the blue base.

Siege
The siege game mode is based on the Mayan pantheon so the structures consists of large stair like buildings and statues of animals with intricate carvings.

Object
Like league of legends objects or items don't have any physical appearance as weapons and clothing you would otherwise collect and acquire in other games are already built in to the gods as they were designed that way, MOBA items are only there to enhance the character's abilities and strength although they do have a visual appearance. Like league of legends you can buy these items and build them up to even stronger items. Another difference is that the summoner spells in league of legends which you can choose before the game starts, you have to buy in smite. There are also starter items in smite like in league of legends however, each transformation of the items get categorized in three tiers.

These are a few of the items which you can buy in the beginning of the match.

Tier I items

Tier II items

Tier III items.
As you can see there are a wide range of strong items that other items can build into, making them stronger which will increase your hero's stats.

Non-Playing Character (NPC)
There are quite a lot of NPCs in smite, starting with conquest the the NPCs consists of jungle monsters, minions, titans and the phoenix's. In arena mode the only NPCs are the Colosseum beasts and maybe the audience. In assault there aren't really other NPCs other than the minions, the phoenix and the titans. In siege mode there are the jungle monsters that are basically the same as the one from conquest mode, the only difference is the ancient beast that gets released once your team's score reaches 100. I won't be showing every single one of these so I'll only be showing the ones that dwell within the main game mode which is conquest. There are a total of eleven jungle camps in smite while league of legends only has nine. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find any images of the camps however I did find descriptions of them from a site.

"Back Harpy camps: There are four of these, the four jungle camps closest to both bases. They are composed of two Harpies and one Elder Harpy. They spawn at 30 seconds into the game and have a respawn time of 80 seconds.
Middle Harpy camps: There are two of these, both at opposite sides across the middle lane, composed of two Elder Harpies. They spawn 30 seconds into the game and have a respawn time of 3 minutes (180 seconds).
Fire Elemental camp: There is one of these, inside the Fire Giant camp. It is composed of three Fire Elementals. They spawn 30 seconds into the game and have a respawn time of 1:50 minutes (110 seconds). Ten seconds before the Fire Giant spawns, the camp is automatically slain and will stop respawning.
Cyclops Mage camps: There are two of these close to the Tier 1 towers on the Fire Giant side of the map. They are composed of two Cyclops Mages and one Cyclops Mage Buff Holder. They spawn 30 seconds into the game and have a respawn time of 3 minutes (180 seconds).
Cyclops Brute camps: There are two of these, both at opposite sides across the map, composed of two Cyclops Brutes and one Cyclops Brute Buff Holder. They spawn 30 seconds into the game and have a respawn time of 4 minutes (240 seconds).
Cyclops Thief camps: There are two of these, both at opposite sides across the map, composed of two Cyclops Thieves and one Cyclops Thief Buff Holder. They spawn 30 seconds into the game and have a respawn time of 4 minutes (240 seconds).
Cyclops Rogue camps: There are two of these close to the Tier 1 towers on the Gold Fury side of the map. They are composed of two Cyclops Rogues and one Cyclops Rogue Buff Holder. They spawn 30 seconds into the game and have a respawn time of 4 minutes (240 seconds).
Oracle Harpy camp: There is one of these, inside the Gold Fury camp. It is composed of two Oracle Furies. They spawn 30 seconds into the game and have a respawn time of 3 minutes (180 seconds).
Gold Fury camp: There is one of these, at the center of the jungle closest to the long lane. It spawns 10 seconds into the game and has a respawn time of 5 minutes (300 seconds).
Portal Demon camp: There is one of these, at the center of the jungle closest to the short lane, across from Fire Giant Camp. It spawns 10 minutes into the game and has a respawn time of 5 minutes (300 seconds).
Fire Giant camp: There is one of these, at the center of the jungle closest to the short lane. It spawns 10 minutes into the game and has a respawn time of 5 minutes (300 seconds)."

Feedback
The feedback for smite is exactly like that of league of legends where if you were to be attacked by any unit your screen will faintly flash red. The only two difference really is the announcer for whenever you get a double kill, tripple kill, quadra kill etc. The other difference is that in smite there is an option where you can announce what your going to do like you can announce that you are going to a certain camp and the cool thing is that you can change the voice of the announcer to one of whatever god you are using however, you have to buy this as a pack along with the skin of that hero.

These are some of the accolades you can get related to kills and killing spree.

Interface
The controls in smite area bit different from league of legends as smite is third person perspective you have to move your god using the WASD keys and to activate an ability you have to press the number keys above and you aim by moving your mouse you the direction you want to aim at. On console you have to use the few keys that you have to operate your god which I think makes it a little harder.
The image below is the player HUD on computer. You can see in the middle there is the god's profile picture then their abilities which shows if its on cooldown or not, you can also see the item slots on the right hand side with the map right above it then on the far left is the god's stats. Above can see the timer along with the stats of both blue and red team and them farther from it are the other god's.

Perspective
Smite has a very unique perspective that is very much different from league of legends. The perspective in smite is third person meaning that you play this kind of action packed game with the camera locked behind the god you are playing however I think that this is a very flexible kind of perspective because it allow for the game to be played in more than one console. Smite can be played on a computer and on an Xbox. I personally prefer the perspective in league of legends because it allows you to see what's in front of you without any confusion and another thing is that attacking enemies or any enemy unit is a lot harder to do as in game terms you have to keep skill shooting them unlike league of legends where you can right click on an enemy unit and you champion will automatically keep attacking that unit, which is why smite is much more practical if played on a console platform.

Full-Motion Video (FMV)
Like league of legends, smite only occasionally release FMVs and these FMVs usually focus on one god over the others that are in it. These videos are also known as cinematic trailers.

Mobile Legends
Mobile legends is a MOBA game that was designed for mobile gameplay. The was developed and published by the company Moonton and was released for iOS platforms on november 9, 2015, and on google play for androids on July 14, 2016. Like any other MOBA games mobile legends map consists of three lanes where players battle other players with the goal of destroying the other's nexus.

Terrain
Mobile legends at the moment only have two modes that have different terrains, there are basically four modes in total but three of the modes are set in the same place. The normal mode is set in a terrain surrounded by lots of trees and other fauna. there are also jungle monsters like you would expect from a MOBA. The colors are quite bright which is also the same for the atmosphere. In brawl mode there is only one lane and this mode is set in a place where its enclosed by rocks, the atmosphere is kind of murky which gives it an eerie and ominous feel. I couldn't find any images of the normal and brawl but the gameplay videos below will show you what it exactly looks like.

Architecture
Since mobile legends is of a small scale it doesn't really have any other structures except for the towers which is set exactly like smite minus the phoenix and titans so it's two towers per lane then there's another one for each of the lanes gates and after that is the nexus or the heart of the base. Unfortunately since the game is still quite.

This is what the tower looks like.
This is what the nexus looks like.

Object
Just like the past two games the avatars known as heroes are already designed to have weapons so the objects you won't see any objects or items with physical appearances as they are only there to enhance your character's stats. But mobile legends also has items which you can only buy in the beginning.
Here are some items you can buy in the beginning with the 300 gold you start with. These items are recommended for players who are playing as a tank hero.

Non-Playing Character (NPC)
There aren't many NPCs in this game as it is of a smaller scale but it's still got the minions and jungle camps.
There is the blue golem which if you kill will grant you mana regeneration and cooldown reduction.
There is the red winged mage which if killed will give you increased damage.
then there are the minor camps which only give you extra gold and exp like the red wraith, the white ogre and then the hermit crab.
The two major camps are the giant turtle which gives you a bigger quantity of extra gold and increased extra exp. Then there's the lord where if he is killed he will push down a random lane attacking any enemy unit the stands before him.

This is a video of a player using one of the heroes to go around the map which along the way shows the camps that live in the jungle.

Feedback
The feedback is exactly like that of smite and league of legends where if you are being dealt damage to the screen will flash red and it's the same with geting double kills, triple kills and getting killing sprees which will announce it to the whole game.

This is a video compilation of players getting pentakills which also showcases the feedback of getting these kills.

Perspective
The perspective for mobile legends is also like league of legends where it's a Birdseye view but slightly tilted, most mobile games are like since the screen is much more smaller so it's the most effective perspective for these type of games.
Interface
In game the you will see the virtual joy stick which you use to move you avatar on the bottom left of the screen and then the mini-map above it. On the bottom right you can see the attack button which is accompanied by the characters three abilities then near the middle are the two spells you can choose from before the match starts. In the middle one the edge of the screen is the match timer and the amount of kills each team has got and then on the top right is you kill, death and assist stat along with your current gold earned and then on the right side under your KDA stats are some announce emotes you can activate, the yellow axe when tapped will announce attack to your teammates, the red man announces retreat then the tri arrows will announce need backup. The speech bubble below the announcers is the chat and under it is your stats where if tapped will fan out and show your current stats.
Full-Motion Video (FMV)
The game doesn't really have any FMVs except for the reveals they release when a new skin or champion is about to come out.

Gameplay

Sport
Sport games are virtual simulations of real-life sports. Many sport have been turned into games like for example basketball and football. In these games you either play as fictional characters that are based on real-life people which I think is what makes them so popular and it's because of this marketing strategy because who wouldn't want to play as their favourite sports star? These games are usually very upbeat accompanied by thrilling music to kind of set the atmosphere that you are competing, you can play these games against a computer or you can play with your friends either through online or on console. Examples of popular games are fifa, NBA video games, need for speed etc. Some games can be based on reality while some games are based on more of a fictional setting where you are able to speed your way through obstacles in a car.

Simulation
These types of games gives you the power to direct how the story goes in that certain game. Simulation games can appeal to anybody like for example the popular sims franchise is a game where you create a character of your own, you can design them however you want from their height, their weight, their nose, their eyes etc. And another thing is that it allows people to experience different things and through this it can also be used as a practice tool.

Roleplay
Role playing games allows the player to play the role of a fictional character hence the name roleplay, these games usually set in a fantasy or sfi-fi environment where the player can interact with the environment and the things that live within this fictional world. You will generally see a lot of numbers on the screen in the form of damage dealt, damage taken, exp and gold earned etc in these games the player gets to play as unique characters which they can also customise and name. An example of a popular roleplaying game is the final fantasy franchise.

Viral marketing
Viral marketing is the latest trend in the marketing games, this is where game publishers and developers include funny and interesting into the game or the story of the game. This is how the term 'pass along' came to be because it encourages their consumers to share information about the game other people about it via the internet which is what makes it such a good marketing strategy because it kind of allows for their audiences to be advertisers.

Click bait
Click bait is used to lure in an audience by using relatable thumbnails on things like posts and videos. Click bait is quite popular in YouTube as it brings in more views, click baits are usually frowned upon because it plays with people's emotions and people hate having feel one thing that is positive and then the next you feel betrayed.

Adventure
Adventure games are generally a mix of different genres as these types of games allow for you to roam around the map, its similar to RPG however there are differences that distinguish these two genres. RPG games have levels while adventure games don't and RPG is more stats based. Adventure games consist of exploration, problem solving and many more, Adventure games can basically be anything.

Strategy
Strategy games have been around for as I can remember starting with board games like chess, monopoly, and other types of ancient board games. Strategy doesn't always have to be a puzzle in the form of board games as there many strategy video games excluding virtual versions of board games, like for example league of legends is a strategy based MOBA game because it's a game that can't be played without having planned anything so you must first devise a strategy. Strategy games help with management and they can also be used as a form of education as it stimulates the brain by giving you events that need to be thought about.
